The
predator-proof Starling Box, in which the brood chamber has also been
enlarged to 14 cm. With its protruding entrance hole this model
provides very good protection against Cats and Martens. However, the
view into the brood chamber is not obscured, and this is a major
advantage when checking and cleaning the box.
Use of this larger entrance hole is recommended if it is hung up in less well lit areas such as hollows, thickets, etc.
